How do I transfer my old home movie film to a DVD or digital file? Can I copy my old home movie films to digital? A DVD is much easier to watch than setting up the old film projector and movie screen...right. Video Doc Productions will copy and transfer films to DVD. 16mm film, Super-8 film, and Regular-8 film transfers. Time is your enemy and tapes may not be viewable in the future. It is not a sales pitch, it's just science! We have had a lot of films come thru this year that is melted together and can't be copied. Don't wait until your memories are lost forever! TIP: If you have a film in metal cans, open them and look at the film. Leave the lids off so the chemicals escape and don't deteriorate the film any further! Read more here.
Thinking of sending your films to one of those mega box places like "Legacy Box" or "iMemories"...Video Doc Digital does all the work here locally and never ships them out.
Drop off your video tapes (all consumer formats) and Video Doc Productions will convert them to DVD or MP4 Digital Video File. We can also convert them to an MP4 video file and store them on a flash drive or thumb drive (not the most permanent way to keep them, because flash drives can go bad too).
