We will scan your 3D View-Master Reels at 2800 dpi, enhance the images for you, make the slide shows and put them on a disk for you. The images can be copied off the disk and put on your hard drive and you can print them out on your printer or you can take our disk to your local One Hour Photo and have them make prints for you or we can make the prints for you.

Viewmaster (Round 3D Slides) can be scanned. The will have rounded corners on the slide as that is how the view master slide was shown.  Because of the extra handling involved in scanning the 3D View-Master Reels, we have to charge more than our standard 35mm scanning rates. We will pick the best image out of each pair and we will output your images to JPEG format, saved at a high resolution of ten. Each View-Master reel will be scanned into its own individual folder onto a disk.

Photo Scanning Process
Photos are first cleaned with compressed air. This removes any extra dust from the photos.  All images are scanned and saved numerically (e.g. Scan-001.jpg).

When scanning we only use the highest grade flat-bed photo scanners. We absolutely do not scan your memories using document scanners as many companies will do. After all the scanning is finished we go through each image one-by-one and make sure that it is oriented properly, adjust the colors (if possible) and then take out any major remaining dust or scratches.

Once all the photos have been scanned and inspected, they will be burned to a CD-Rom or a DVD-Rom. These disks are regarded as the best medium for long-term storage.
